The Olympic qualifying tournament has gone well for Mexico so far with 11 goals scored in three games and only one conceded, but it will all mean nothing unless el Tri win against Canada on Saturday.

On paper, Mexico is the stronger team, especially with forwards Alan Pulido and Marco Fabian on fire so far in the tournament.
The Mexican players, however, are not taking their tickets to London this summer for granted, stressing that they expect a tough game in Kansas.
“We can´t be overconfident, it is a rival we have to be wary of,” Mexico winger Miguel Ponce told the press. “We know they will fight for everything. Like us, they´ll be going for the win, so we have to concentrate for 90 minutes.”
Added Fabian: “They are a strong team, there is a reason they are (in the semis). It´d be the worst to think it´s an easy rival.”
With the Honduras versus El Salvador match beforehand, the Livestrong Sporting Park is expected to be close to capacity, despite Kansas not having as big a Mexican community as other parts of the United States.
